She cried so much in a private discussion with her superior in a small, boring meeting room. The discussion was about her attitude that changed so drastically all of a sudden. Actually, she had lost interest to work. At that moment, she only thought of her family back in hometown and how to earn money to complete her studies.
Her face swollen when the tears started to drought. Her lips became so pink that everyone might think she had just been brutally kissed by her boyfriend. After the discussion ended, she filled up an evaluation form and submitted it to her superior before leaving the room. She went back to her cubicle and started packing up her things to go back home.
She suddenly felt a sense of needing a shoulder to cry on. She grabbed her mobile phone and began dialing a friend's number "012..."
I: He-Hello there (Still sobbing)
U: Hi. What's up? Hey, are you crying?
I: Yup. Just had a counseling session with them. May I request from you something?
U: Say it
I: Can you help me to cool down? Can you make me stop crying?
U: Uhmm.. Come over. We'll figure it out later
She took a train and went to U's house. U tried to calm her down. "Do you want to eat Maggi? I'll cook for you". "Thanks". Five minutes later, Maggi's ready. Maggi with egg. Before she left.. "Thank you so much. I am at ease now"
Moral of the story:
A memory with a good friend stays in mind, but friends.. will they stay as time passes by? Cooking a cheap Maggi for a sober friend can make her happy, what's even more? Appreciate your friends. Be there whenever they need you. Cheers!
