Reggae Jom!

I joined a group of my favorite live band known as CHEMISTRY in Facebook. Yesterday, they sent a message saying:
" We're glad to inform that Chemistry has now certified with 'Sijil Akreditasi' (Acreditation Certificates) issued by Kementerian Penerangan, Komunikasi & Kebudayaan Malaysia (Ministry of Information, Communication & Culture of Malaysia) at a formal ceremony held at Soundstage FINAS on 22 February 2010. Chemistry, alongside with Havoq, D'Arts & Tony Soliano were given certification as 'Lulus Cemerlang' (Outstanding). Amongst other receivers were Sons of Adam, Skyhigh, Guess Who band and Sweet Sensation. "
CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I met Chemistry for the very first time at Funtheque, The Ship at Bukit Bintang on 21st June 2009. To make it more memorable, that was my very first time stepping my feet into a night club. Together with my PETT friends, we enjoyed every single song played by them. We danced along to the music. After three months, they performed at La Vida, Holiday Villa Subang until 31st December 2009. Now, they are performing at The Hive, Thistle Johor Bahru. Unfortunately, I haven't get the chance to see them performing whenever I go back to JB.

The reasons why I like Chemistry are:
- Ivy is so hot. Other than her lovely voice, I just love staring at her curvilicious body. Furthermore, she likes to wear blouses that show off her belly. Melttt
- They can sing in Malay, English, Hindi, Chinese and Tamil songs! I like it when they sang Rockapak Melayu songs, Eddy Grant's Give Me Hope Joanna, and Vasi Gara (A tamil song) . Also, we can do poco2 dance when they sing Joget songs. HAPPENING!
- The singers dance really good. Especially the girls (Ivy and Wawa). Melttt again!

I wanna wish all the best to them and I hope I'll be able to catch them in JB before their last day there (31st March 2010) with my younger sister, Jia. And as I was writing this post, I was reggae-ing with Eddy Grant's song that I mentioned above.

Well Jo'anna she runs a country
She runs in Durban and the Transvaal
She makes a few of her people happy, oh
She don't care about the rest at all
She's got a system they call apartheid
It keeps a brother in a subjection
But maybe pressure can make Jo'anna see
How everybody could a live as one

Gimme hope, Jo'anna
Hope, Jo'anna
Gimme hope, Jo'anna
'Fore the morning come
Gimme hope, Jo'anna
Hope, Jo'anna
Hope before the morning come

I hear she make all the golden money
To buy new weapons, any shape of guns
While every mother in black Soweto fears
The killing of another son
Sneakin' across all the neighbours' borders
Now and again having little fun
She doesn't care if the fun and games she play
Is dang'rous to ev'ryone

She's got supporters in high up places
Who turn their heads to the city sun
Jo'anna give them the fancy money
Oh to tempt anyone who'd come
She even knows how to swing opinion
In every magazine and the journals
For every bad move that this Jo'anna makes
They got a good explanation

Even the preacher who works for Jesus
The Archbishop who's a peaceful man
Together say that the freedom fighters
Will overcome the very strong
I wanna know if you're blind Jo'anna
If you wanna hear the sound of drums
Can't you see that the tide is turning
Oh don't make me wait till the morning come
